Mindfulness is a psychological technique evidenced to help combat stress but it isn’t just for adults. Now more than ever, the spread of mindfulness in schools is having some amazing effects. Julie Kelly is a highly qualified & experienced Mindfulness practitioner and alongside her classes supported by Dr Michael Taylor of the York House Medical Practice in Heywood, Julie recently worked with a group of students from a local Academy School around stress reduction. This has subsequently led to her planning and facilitating short courses in Mindfulness &k Meditation around other schools & Higher Education facilities. The course runs 1 day per week for 6 weeks & is aimed at helping students experience the benefits of bringing the mind into the present moment alongside learning the skills to take into future life projects. The total cost of the course will be £10 per student
